Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. The laser emits light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.

Unlike laser hair removal of the past, which was painful and left the skin sensitive for days, our TrioPro™ machine is pain-free. It uses advanced technology to “sweep” over areas instead of stamping them.

Laser hair removal is a gentle technique that treats both small and larger areas effectively with minimal discomfort and no downtime.

It is safe for all parts of the body, including the face, though you’ll wear protective eye covers during the procedure. Commonly treated areas include the underarms, bikini line, back and face (such as the chin, upper lip or cheeks).

Multiple treatments are usually needed for complete removal. Most patients have permanent hair loss after an average of three to eight sessions. Darker skin may respond less well because of the lower contrast between skin and hair color, and blonde or gray/white hair is less responsive because it has less pigment. Patients with dark hair and light skin typically see the best results.

Age, ethnicity, medication, hormone levels and body area affect the length, coarseness and color of body hair, which influences the results of any laser treatment.
